Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12, are the last Polar Bear Express night antique trolley rides of this season at the Rockhill Trolley Museum.
Departures are leaving continuously from 6:30 PM to the last scheduled departure at 9:00 PM.
Take a beautiful night right through the lighted decorations on antique trolleys from all 3 generations, the turn of the century, the 1940’s and the newest trains, the San Diego U2 LRV representing the renaissance of electric rail transportation in America, from 1982. Most are heated.
Feel free to sing carols or tell stories and you may opt to get off at the Altoff Siding and walk through the lights before getting back on to return to the heated Museum Store and Picnic Pavilion Sweet Shoppe.
There you will receive free hot chocolate and cookies and you may warm your hands by the campfire. Additional snacks & rail related gifts are available for purchase. Adults are $8, Children $5, Under 2 or “Too young for cookie” are free.
Tickets are good for one serving of hot chocolate and cookies and as many rides as you want as long as there is room. These holiday events are our largest and most important fund raisers of the year.
This is the last ride before the Easter Bunny Trolley in the spring, March 19, 2016!
The museum is located at 430 Meadow St., Rockhill Furnace, PA 17249, next to the post office and across from the old or former East Broad Top Railroad’s Orbisonia Station. Check http://www.
